Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, I’ve never strayed far, now living just over the river in South Minneapolis. I attended the University of St. Thomas for my undergrad and William Mitchell College of Law for my law degree. Since graduating from law school in 2013, I have only practiced bankruptcy law and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I have found this area of practice to be extremely fulfilling. It’s one of the few areas of law where we as attorneys can get results from the courts in a very short time frame for our clients. When creditors are bothering you, or you are afraid that you might lose your home, it’s really nice to resolve things quickly.

People find themselves in need of bankruptcy for a lot of reasons, and I can personally relate to quite a few of them. I have struggled with student loan payments. I have had unforeseen large medical debt. I have been surprised at what life has thrown my way. No one is immune to financial struggles no matter how well they prepare. I get it.
