Let us tell you about ourselves, Minnesota bankruptcy attorneys Bill Kain and Margaret Henehan.

Minnesota Bankruptcy Lawyer William Kain

When you work with Kain + Henehan, one of the attorneys that will represent you is me, Bill Kain. I have been representing people in bankruptcy cases since the early 1980’s. My focus is on helping our clients through one of the most challenging times of their lives.

What makes me a good bankruptcy attorney is my dedication to helping people in need. Many lawyers may be in the business for other reasons, but my reason is to help people through the bankruptcy process so that they can have a brighter future. I find my bankruptcy practice to be extremely rewarding; it is humbling and gratifying to be able to assist people in resolving their financial problems – having clients get a fresh start financially makes such a positive difference in their lives!

I also am interested in helping the industry by researching bankruptcy topics and sharing with other lawyers so they can develop a deeper insight into how their clients are impacted and how to change their practices to help them be more effective.

Minnesota Bankruptcy Lawyer Margaret Henehan

When you choose Kain + Henehan, you may also be represented by me, attorney Margaret Henehan. I have practiced law since 2013 and have always specialized in bankruptcy law. Since graduating from law school, I have only practiced bankruptcy law and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have found this area of practice to be extremely fulfilling.

I hope people see that my commitment is evident and my empathy for our clients is clear by both my words and actions. Having dealt with my own unforeseen medical debt and student loans, I know that no one is immune to financial struggles no matter how well they prepare. I get it. When designing my law partnership with Bill, I made sure that our boutique law firm was able to help clients across all of Minnesota with knowledge and compassion.

A Team Effort

Part of an effective law practice is having a good team. Our firm, Kain + Henehan, has the added counsel of attorney Kelsey Quarberg and an organized and efficient support staff.

Attorney Quarberg has represented a combination of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy debtors, Chapter 7 trustees, and clients facing bankruptcy litigation. Kelsey has helped over one thousand Minnesotans successfully file for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy relief.

We are proud of our staff – from the first phone call we want you to feel welcomed and understood.
